The mongol trial

I liked the mongol trial (though it is quite a one-sided argument). It was hard to be on defense because there is so much evidence of mongol terror and barely any to defend them. As a cross examiner, I did the best I could by questioning any evidence brought up by witnesses. My view on the mongols is that they were overly aggressive invaders. They won their battles through ruthlessness, which is the way to win in my eyes. I think they should be admired as a force to be reckoned with. I would find them guilty of these crimes, though their motives were not any different from other empire building civilizations.

Genghis Khan : ruthless murderer?

Genghis Khan was not a ruthless killer in my eyes. He was a lover and even after defeating his best friend, he could not kill him without consent. Genghis Khan showed love for his wive. The only times where Khan was ruthless was in war, and that is the proper way to fight. It is what made him powerful and allowed him to take so much control

Thr Crusade Project - Day 4

I am trying to finish the twitter feed tonight, so as to have an open night tomorrow. This project is coming along easily, the conversations are not hard to make up with the incorporation of researched information. Me and anthony finished the first conversation in school, and the rest will hopefully be done tonight. Today, I tried google saudi arabia, and it gave me some different websites to go to once i scrolled down. I found one really good source which I added.

The Crusades Project- Day 2

I have decided to do a twitter feed featuring two soldiers in the muslim army, salim and asif. They will have conversations after each crusade i am researching. Wikipedia is a great first resource, it has every crusade in detail. I have used the three major search engines, bing yahoo and google, and the top results are nearly exactly the same.

The Crusades Project - day 3

I decided to check out the school library database, and I am blown away by the amount of information it has produced. It is a great find, and I plan to use this info along with wikipedia. I will try a search with a different country code for google. I have decided to colloborate with anthony on the twitter project, and this will make it easier. I plan to get started on the twitter feed tomorrow.

The Crusades project- Day 1

For my project, I decided to do the first, fourth, and eighth crusade. I wanted to show the progress of the crusades over time, so I chose the first, middle, and last crusade. To start with, I am most likely going to use xtranormal, unless I find a better alternative. My information hunt will begin with wikipedia...
